Panzer 4 for sale

Post by David Wiltshire »

As my tank has been sitting for three years in my garage doing nothing I've decided to put it up for sale.
I have modelled it after the Enigma that is Panzer Lehr 333. There are two Churchill animatronic figures which are the tank commander and another figure using a field phone along with various items of plunder.
I'll attempt to get it running this week and take some recent photos enclosed are the two figures
Asking £4400 forgot to mention smoke module, sound , recoil and Sealy hydraulic bench

Price reduction £4000 for the tank and £200 for the Seally bench.

Some photo's of the tank, the animatronic Commander looks up and down then left and right looks at the map then raises his binoculars and looks left and right. The other animatronic figure looks around and uses the field phone, can't remember what else he does.
I modelled the tank on reports of a Panzer 4 late in the war around the conflict in Northern France hence the bottles of wine etc in the satchels. Probably as accurate a depiction of Panzer Lehr 333 but who knows as it is known as the enigma that was Panzer Lehr 333.
Just to add Adrian from this forum did an excellent job sorting out the wiring so everything is easy to plug into and has been separated with switches.

Just an update, plugged the battery charger in today for the tank and also plugged in the charger for the remote control.
Found the TANK folder with some of the documents but couldn't find the certificate yet.

The buyer from Germany has pulled out so I'm offering the tank for £4000 on its own or £4200 with the Seally hydraulic bench.

Forgot to mention, I have upgraded the transmitter battery and found 8 sets of leaf springs for the tank that I' had bought from Armortek as spares. Found a snapshot from the Pathe News broadcast but only a photo of 333 not the full Pathe News footage, I'm still searching.

I've had a nightmare trying to find the original Pathe News footage of the tank which inspired me to model it afterwards.
But I have found some other brief footage of it on Youtube if you search 'German War Files Panzer 4 heavy tank' at 50.42 of the 57.09 footage you can see the tank.
