Evening all.
Rotten weather here so spent the day sorting some of the wiring. I still have the lights to rewire but there should be plenty of room, once the wire arrives.
One thing that did help was to remove the stiff wire on the motor and solder the ESC straight on. The speaker occupies the space where the radiator went, so Vince's idea has merit. Could even be room for a false engine, possibly.

Hi all.
Pottering away as we do, time to have a look at the canopy frame. I am "doing" a later S1, thus I am allowed a rounded canopy top. La.d R.... changed the design to help prevent water and other detritus collecting on the roof canvas.
So, before the canvas we need a frame that doesn't wobble about:-

Nice bit of pottering there. The new canopy will look great. Making a jig to hold the frame steady for soldering was a good use of your time, juggling that wire without would have been entertaining.
I love the shovels in the load area, are they something you made?

Excellent Idea Charles, Hopefully taking out the baggy-ness (is that a word? ) out of the hood we've seen on other models, maybe a bit more head room for the little guy too.
