HereÂ´s the swedish crew in detail action over some heavy blueprints from ww2 at my place, lead by the Pro Per Sonnervik.
Just Kent missing so we shall now flame him in eternity for not getting in the car and driving the 1200Km down to us

I was like a big questionmark most of the 5 hour meet

.
Per is a walking KT encyclopedia and what he explained about all of the KT was stunning and fascenating!!!.
Stefan showed some of his work and unfortunately i didnt take any photos of it!!!!
The Coffey was beeing poured up every 5 minutes and the sweet cakes and pinapple pie was appretiated i think.
I learned loads and i will from now be a bit slower in the build and do things the hardcore way by the means and the best i can with the equipment i have. And it seems i will redo VERY much:(.

Some very cool and interesting Blueprints were examed carefully.

A setback

Per convinced me to redo the drive sprockets and i understood why

And the roadwheels will also have some bolts and nuts fixed for scale corectness

This is what we achived during the meet its a pimped Lawnmower.
Some minor things will be adjusted !!!

Started to redo the drivewheels with bolts going inwards and with the lock tabs on the inside.
Had to fill all drilled holes with ceramic metal and will drill new ones closer to the outer rim so the bolts will lock on it as it should be.
Working on a hub lock so i can conseal the edge around the cap, as the wheel was done in one piece and locked in place with the 11 Big center bolts. And will also make lock tabs from photoetch material as no such was in the kit.

Will also remake the roadwheels with bigger nuts going inwards in the outer circle and smaller SW bolts and nuts in the center for some detail accuracy. Take a look at Stefan Konitzers wheels to see tha difference.

Hopefully i will have it done by sunday, as im goin in for treatment next week and i doubt i will have the stamina to sit down and continue with the speed i have had uptil now.

So Achtung all, 503 Maaaaaarch!!!!!

His wheels are in the gallery for the Tiger 1 but its the same setup, besides the center hubcap Richie.
Damn just ordered the bolts and nuts!!!!!!! 120Euro!!!!

Well they are not ready yet but you can see where im aiming for
Huge diference and they will please me when ready:)

Hi guys some small slow progress made as i had my first treatment today. Gona work halftime and hopefully im going to be able to accomplish some minor things

Here is some eye candy !!

The Turret aint fully completed as i need to do some minor adjustments and some milling on it, but it looks awesome!!

Tracklink holders were a pain as they squeeze against the tracks and ripped the paint

so i bent them out a tad. In the background you see how many cans of etchprimer you need for this huge model

and ive already used 5 so 17 more to go.

I was only kidding about the cans. But i bought em all up as they were on grand sale at our autostore.

So i stacked up for Kent Per Stefan and myself, well we cut the price with almost 5.5euros per can. So were happy.

Fredrik,

I started the work, specially the Kent Treatment, on my KT
You can follow the progress on my Website, If I put the pictures here it would be overcrowded...
The last weeks i spent more time working on my shed and had to leave the KT as it was.
At night and now and then i followed your progress and was amazed
about the speed it went along...
Sometimes you were so fast you had to redo stuff...
I'm gonna take some more time,so i can study the books, photo's and the Forum here to learn how to make the KT look as the real thing.

Your anctious to get the thing running...So was i until i started reading the forum and heard about the Kent Treatment and all the other things to give the model a more real look...

Keep up the good work but not the speed...
