Just the mid bracket to make for the barrel cleaning rods and then we are onto the hand brake mechanism, which looks a bit complicated.

Hi Martin, I'm looking forward to all the 88 builds it's a great model. My back, how long have you got? I was in hospital 3 weeks ago with multiple lower lumbar prolapse, I have surgery coming up, it's just a case of morphine and being very careful for now.
Do you have a half track to pull it, I guess the sdkfz 7 will be next on the new kit list.

Hi Phil, sorry to hear of your continuing back issues, I'm sure bending over the workbench does not help matters much, you go easy there big guy.

love the 88, looking at all the builds posted and shake my head at the quality, I can only match in enthusiasm but strive for my best in build.
At present I'm building the Leopard and loving this kit.

deposit on the 88 & SDKFZ7 ,flying home in November for family and friends, settle the remainder then, hoping to meet the very helpful team at Armortek.

It may sound daft but i find sitting building these kits to be the most therapeutic feeling ever, an escape from everyday headaches and such..

keep as well as you can do Phil.

Martin I agree these builds are our escape from reality for sure.

You will have to zoom in on the intermediate rod bracket to be able to see it in all its glory, a tricky little devil for sure but done now. The brakemans foot pegs live here.

Foot rests all done and a few other jobs to, then I really am onto the hand brake mechanism, those that have the new 88 release will have lots of extra detail included, looking at the Armortek cad rendering you will get the hand brake mechanism.

A little done, well quite a lot really, it's just very small work.

The cable end swivels take a bit of work on the mill and the lathe, I run a hack saw down first to make its easier for the end mill cutter

Hi Phil
Did you leave it plugged in and switched on as per the instructions ? otherwise the internal battery dies so you might need a new internal battery I have the wm16 mill with the same readout.

That sounds like the problem Derek, an "M" was visible on the display and then it went blank, is the battery readily available?
