Re: Pics and clips from events
I thought I might share some photos of our latest drive day. The day was a bit windy but a truly wonderful day and night, yes we had a night drive which challenged the photographer but we did learn a lot so the next night drive will be much better.
Thank you to everyone that attended, Paul, and Paul, and Wolfgang, who each travelled thousands of kms for the weekend - your company is always welcome.
I think that the few improvements I have done to the area added to the driving fun but still a long way to go.
Thanks
Liam

Thanks for hosting the event and having us, it's well worth the 11 hour drive each way. It was awesome weekend and the night driving was very cool

Liam what an exceedingly cool venue and event you had there! I'm beyond jealous.
Is it too late to immigrate to Australia or are Yanks no longer allowed...!?
Hey, at least you wouldn't have to mail those heavy tracks so far!

Re: Pics and clips from events
Hi guys,
some days ago the Hausen tank event 2024 took place. This is the biggest (and perhaps greatest) model tank event in Europe, and it is hosted by Reinhold, a private person in Germany. As every year models from 1/8 scale to 1/4 scale were welcome, and about 48 models were present. Again the weather was very hot (about 31 °C) and driving, viewing and taking pics were a little exhausting (nobody is getting younger....)
Here some pics from the Saturday (not all models included, sorry). In Friday there was night driving but I couldn't participate.
A friend published a video of the night event:

Liam et al,
Obviously it is worth every mile travelling!
Magnificent scenery you built. And enjoying to spot the recent additions.
Chapeau!

Liam - your driving area is looking awesome! Love the train cars and bridges!
Hausen looks fantastic! Hard to tell from photos the 1/4 scale from 1/6 scale sometimes! Great pix! Love the flat bed truck with tanks - travelling in style.

Re: Pics and clips from events
Hi Bob,
yes, when the scales are not mixed, it is not easy to say which scale is shown on a photo. Not even when the models stand side by side, the difference is obvious.
The smoking model is 1/4 scale, the others are 1/8 scale (left) and 1/6 scale (middle and right)
