Hi Jens

Don’t know if I understood your question but they are all RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb.
Bare in mind the formula said the color pigment was to be mixer with gasoline. Gasoline was a very rare thing better used to drive vehicle then paint them so they used what ever they had and that was mostly water.
So the color of RAL 7028 differs and is hard to tell exactly.

However for us modeller Tamiya TS-3 spray can are the best thing and is spot on RAL 7028.
Go for it and you can leave this problem behind.

Cheers
Kent

I and many other modellers have found that Humbrol . 93 and 94 are the best base colour to use on 1/35 and 1/6 scale models ..I hope this helps .It's best to do a test spray first ... Dale

Hi Jens.

I have colored with Ral 1001 beige, from Primaster.Important, from Monitor to Monitor the colour must be not the same, also from factory to factory.Normaly Ral is a Standart, but it gives some diffrences. My Colour is the same as the fields in the Sommer in German have.( Gras,corn,grain..)

Hi guys,

Another influence on the perception of the original RAL colours is the outdoor light conditions. Under sunny conditions the colours look much brighter and more realistic than under a covered sky.
I used the original RAL 7021 (made in Germany) colour on my SdKfz 222 and in the house or under cloudy conditions it looks very dark grey or almost black. Under "daylight" TL tubes or outdoors in the sun, the colour is a much lighter grey with a slight touch of blue.

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine restored a WWII Zundapp combination some time ago, the colour that was recommended by one of the clubs was Ford Nevada Beige in satin/egg shell. I have a couple of panzer Faust’s and a chest with RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb on, you couldn't tell the difference, well apart from the age and marks.
