Famo sprocket and front road wheel

Post by Adam Maplesden »

Hi everyone I'm having trouble with the front sprocket and road wheel on my Famo , the sprocket will not allow the front road wheel to turn with the tracks it looks like it needs a spacer were the wheel comes in 2 although the back half of the wheel catches as well.

How have you all over come this?

Many thanks
Adam

The rubber can sometimes rub, what I see here is that the sproket is mounted about 2mm too far inwards. The tapper lock should be flush with the axle, so the road wheel runs exactly between the sprockets.

Thank you and yeah it was when I was running it but I only put it back on just for the photo but the sprocket was in the middle of the road wheel.

Then maybe you have too small an angle on the roller arm? It fits me, but just barely with strong compression.

The angle of the arm is fine and the sprocket position is fine.

One or two mm to the chassis with the sproket. I know its close, but it will work 8)
