Just a hint: I'm using Olaf's steel track links on three models of mine with best results. The original sprocket rings have good running characteristics when remaining 'untuned'. Other shapes of teeths may be not as good. Pointed teeth for the King Tiger were also tested by German army; there are rare pics available.

For my non-AT models I had to create sprockets of my own for Olaf's track links, and I copied this tooth shape. The only modification was some tapering of the tooth flanks.
kind regards
Gerhard
