I have followed the drawing above and can confirm gear case now fits perfectly and pulleys clear the hatches and hull,(just about).
I had fitted the bearings in the motor mount with loctite 638. I applied some heat and was able to remove the bearings without any issue.

Another update on progress with the Panzer IV. I have been having a go at painting the wheels. I have not done much weathering in the past. I usually let the tanks pick up wear and dust with age. A bit like myself. Chipping and rust is something I want to add to the Panzer IV.

I also did some work on removing the machine marks left on the wheels.

Here are some photos. I am working on a video also.

I have finally started work on Shürzen. At least on hull. Working from bottom up. Turret will follow. Using drawings from Panzer Tracts which are in 1/10 and 1/20 scale as template. Scaled up to 1/6.

I made up the brackets from the drawings without checking the model. Credit to Armortek, the brackets are a perfect fit without adjustment.

Now ready to start painting the upper hull. Not certain of what to paint. Have one in mind but might alter camo style a bit.

Thanks Bob. I might see if steel angle is available next time for framework as easy to assemble. Aluminium worked well though.
