Very surprised at this price point that there are no decals for the gauges.
Does anyone have a source for suitable decals?

There are decals in my kit, in with the brass fretwork pack I believe.

I found the decals in my kit, definitely taped to the board with the engine grille etc.
They are a bit indistinct but I plan to do some detail work on the dash panel anyway when the time arrives.
Still sorting the front suspension and axle before I move onto other things.

Found it, although there looks to be 4 spaces for decals and only 3 decals

Andy, three of the spaces are for gauges and the far left is for the ignition switch.

Building Armortek kits is way different from building an Airfix kit. It's far more involved in both research and in the work required.

A kit can definitely be done over a weekend with a couple of needle files and some basic hand tools. But the result will be very basic.

But to arrive at a scale model with a high level of detail requires a lot more investment.

I know the kits are expensive, but they are designed to a budget. If they were made to be super detailed you would be paying super money.

Slow down a little and enjoy the process of putting these amazing kits together. I planned on at least a couple of years for the Series 1 build. My Centurion took close to four years and was still not finished when I had to sell because of a house move.
