Hi everybody,
I don't like the version of the headligths mounted on the mudgards delivered with the kit.
Does anybody know where to get other additional parts like:
headlights (with rounded back) mounted on the front hull
the small ones (headlights?) mounted on the mudgards
a horn
and the part I dont't know what it is, mounted on the left mudgard- ?
Most photos of the Pz III shows the parts I mean. So it must probably possible to get them in 1/6 scale....?! ...I hope so

Hi Dirk
Have a look at Daves accessories for the panzer 111
http://www.armorpax.com/
and Mikes
http://www.armortek.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=885
Not sure if they have what you want but asking if its possible to
make them wont hurt.
Regards Stewart

Hi Dirk,
No, every item from Panzers are not made as aftermarket parts (yet...)
The hobby is simply still to young to have everything on the shelf we possibly want when we superdetail our tanks.
The 2 type of front headlight you ask about are not made by anyone (as I know of).
Please note the good looking one made by Steve Winstone is not the correct one for a Panzer III Ausf L unless we talk about a late in war survivor.
The siren and old style Notek front blackout light however are today made by Panzerwerk
http://www.panzerwerk.com//index.php?op ... e&Itemid=1
They are not made in metal but look real good.
I think you refer to the Notek convoy light and that one are within the kit made by Armorpax and if you want a functional one the one Mike make can be done so.
He also has a lot of other Panzer III aftermarket items:

Hope this was of any help.

Dirk,
I have been looking into the issue of the inboard headlights and the fender marker lamps. And, I may have a workable solution. I am currently looking at using 1/16th scale bosch lights as marker lamps - I have seen working ones cast in metal on the internet somewhere - just need to find a source again. But, lenses would have to be made and the lights modified to accept them.
For the inboard headlights, I am looking at the off-road, 1/12th RC lamps made by RAM Electronics for the Tamiya RC Trucks. THe housing is Aluminum and a little less than an inch in diameter - but again lenses and blackout covers would need to be made. As well as the deck mounts.
Well, that is what I am pursuing on those aspects. Any alternatives or feedback is greatly appreciated.
