Hi,

I found this while trawling through german ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.de/Armortek-Panzerkampf ... 240%3A1318

Looks like one of the first finished Armortek Panzer III's.

Thanks Antony

Interesting Antony, the first all build one we have seen photos from.

Also interesting this comment on the model from the seller:

"das ich die Laufrollen neu CNC Drehen lassen habe, weil die von Armortek mir nicht gefiehlen, und auch nicht ganz stimmten."

"I have made new rollers in a CNC machine, as the ones supplied from Armortek didn’t get my approval as they were inaccurate."

Hmm, maybe another thing for a rivetcounter to take care of

Nice spotting Antony,

wow, that must have been a fast build!

Looks great! The Panzer III is really starting to grow on me. I'm partial to the Panzer IV but these do look nice. When is that second batch coming out Gill? :)

Agree Tim, but it doesn’t fit that well with our Normandy era interest
A Stug III however...

Just look at this photo:

Isn’t that a sexy thing
And if it has ostketten - WOW! The meanest, roughest, best looking afv in ww2!
But not that much ostketten in France...

(sorry for stealing the thread  )

I've got to agree that the Stug III is one nice bit of kit and an obvious model for Armortek. Also not having a turret I wonder if Armortek could make it realatively cheaper, which should attract even more customers.

The stug would make a great Armortek kit 8)

How can someone build a kit that quickly . I can't see the point , at that rate he would need a new kit every six weeks ... You can realy notice the wrong sprocket in these photos as the model is painted . also when i build my PZIII I will have a good look at the ride hight I know this model would not have the motion pack but it is sitting way to high . I now Gill has told us before that there are a lots of modellers who don't use the forum which is a same . Like Allan said It would be nice to have some more Sherman and M2 builds on the forum . There where 75 SHERMAN . kits made . Dale

Antony,
That is a great looking PZIII build, and great find. Are you going to add it to your stable of kits? It looks like the builder did a great job, and fast too!

Kent the Stug is cool! Neat photo. It does look meaner with the Ostketten. I still think the Panther is meaner but the Stug is a cool tank none the less.

I agree Dale, we need more builders to post on the forum!
