Hi all, Winter is here so time to start my next Project, since building the previous sdkfz 7 i still have the enthusiasm for another, i was lucky to acquire this started vehicle, The build level so far is good so decided to carry on with the same version, a late production Flak vehicle, I have the Flak already , a metal Chinese Model Produced in the 2000s , i will post some photo's as i go, regards simon.

If that's up to your usual standard that's going to be stunning mate. Look forward to watching the progress on here. Steve.

Thanks Forum Members, The vehicle is something different to build, The photo's are of the Flak kit i purchased, at least 10 years ago, has any one seen this kit before, and who made it, regards simon.

Just Making a start to build up a bit of momentum, checked the motors and the inner brass bush, all good, some dismantling needed to replace a few rusty nuts etc. regards simon.

I have turned the chassis over and started servicing the suspension and steering, due to the vehicle being left in a damp shed, while i have access to this section i have repainted and weathered the underneath, even though you will never see it, all the best simon.

Looking good Simon, I vaguely remember those flak kits - all metal. Perfect match for SDKFZ7. Was this same company that made 1/6 Searchlight?

Following with interest.

Thanks Bob and Jeff, i have been working on the Front Grill, Re-working the center bars, Radiator cap and more pronounced radiator cap neck, plus re fitted the motors and some weathering to the chassis, the hard to reach areas, it's always a bit repetitive in the beginning, but you have to start somewhere., all the best to all you builders in 2024, regards simon.

Thanks Robert for the Encouragement, i have added some extra detail to the Armortek kit Front wheels which are a very nice part in themselves, Grease nipples, Air valves and reshaped the center caps, i also started to get to grips with the instrument panel and bulk head which will be a lot of work, all for now, regards simon.

Hi all, I am still working on the dash panel, reproducing the dials has been tricky, getting some clean accurate detail, I have made a few to practise, regards Simon.
