Tiger 1 Scan Of Original Comic Style Manual

Post by David Wilcoxen »

Hello Tiger 1 enthusiasts, for those who do not have it already, I have a full scan of the WWII comic style manual that was given to tank crews while training during the war. They are quite interesting and have great information along with curvy drawings!
Just email me if you want a copy, they are free to whoever wants one. animas7@aol.com

Are you sure this doesn’t breach copyright ? 🤔 Bovington Tank Museum has released this in hard copy ….
Mark IV (Liesel, Abteilung 14, France 1918)
M3 Lee (25 Dragoons, Burma 1944)
Universal Carrier (2/Wiltshires, Italy 1944)
Panther (Deserter, 145 RAC, Italy 1944)
Centurion Mk 3 (8KRIH, Korea 1950/51)
Morris Quad, 25-pdr & limber (45RA, Korea 1951)

Can the Tank Museum claim copyright of a document which was drawn up by unknown authors within the Wehrmacht 80 years ago ?

It's a moot point anyway, as a Google search of "tigerfibel pdf" shows it's readily available all over the Internet.

Hi guys,

the copyright can protect only up to 70 years. Therefore all documents and pictures of WW II don't have any copyright. Other rights like nondisclosure are not affected.
kind regards
Gerhard
