WIP Tiger 1 Stowage Bin

WIP. Tiger 1 Stowage Bins. It has taken a long time, but I am getting there. Here is a picture of the next ten bins that should be finished in the next two to three days. Over 2000 miniature rivets, holes drill and rivets hammered or soldered in place, now this is time consuming over 50 hours to date (actual work time). With my current work load I hope to finish all bins by the end on November. Those that will be getting one of these 10 will receive a e-mail notice on the day of mailing.

These bins still need the bin latches, bin lids, hinges, top mounting brackets and backs fitted.

Please note that the stowage bin will only be sold as a kit from now on. When the currect orders are filled I will have assembled 36 of them. I do not want to build any more.

Surely the ultimate accessory for a Tiger :D

Would it be possible to post a picture of the constituent parts which make up the kit, to give an idea of the work involved in building one of these :?:

Adrian.

Hi Adrian

Here is the link to the assembly instructions. It is 10 pages and listed with my catalog. Best to download the pages and then print, the pages are a little over size so pringing direct from your browser you will not get a complete page in one print.

I have one of Mike’s boxes and you all know me by now how keen I am in detailing and I must say those boxes are well worth waiting for.

An absolute super item and one of the finest aftermarket parts ever made.
Thanks Mike for having them done for us as it brings the whole model to a completely new level.

Here is a picture of the 10 bins I hoped to finish in the first week of October, however it was not possible. They are now finished and ready to ship. I will not be able to complete the remaining 20 bins I have to assemble by the end of Novemebr as I first thought. I may have another 10 completed and will try to have them all done and shipped before Christmas.

Regards
Mike

Wonderful workmanship Mike . This has been big project for you ! .. I don't know how you do it . I bet you started to have nightmears when you saw that armortek are doing a mid tiger in 2010 .. I will order my PZIII parts next week ... Dale
