Brian, Steve, Fiona and myself braved the poor forecast and were rewarded with a clear, if breezy, day.
Not as busy as previously, possibly due to the forecast, or Wimbledon
Back in our new spot, as the rugby club were using their pitch for training. Plenty of visitor interest though.

Adrian, is that by any chance an amateur radio rally??

It was indeed Vince.
We're a bit of a tenuous link (RADIO control tanks ) but they seem to like having us there.

Re: McMichael Radio Rally 2023
The second photo reminds me that I ran my Cromwell about two thirds the way down the field to try seeing how far the radio signal was strong enough to keep the Tank going before fail safe occurred. I guess it was around 150 yards, having successfully passed between some goal posts, that I decided that discretion was more important than finding out where the tenuous link actually was!
