Just wondering if anybody who has the audio module does NOT have a programming button on their Audio Module.

Mine has the square hole in the back, and labeled programming, but I see no button anywhere. I have stuck a wooden rod in there as far as I feel comfortable and have not 'hit' anything. My documentation does tell me to program it, so maybe they made a running change and did not fix the instructions.

Think you will find that the button is in there but totally misaligned with the cut out in the case.
I had to take the top off the unit to get to it.

Well I would like to do that to see, but it will void the warranty. Is it reasonably straight into the hole or off to the side? I poked around and I see and feel nothing. I see the edge of a circuit board at the top of the opening, but no switch.

I can’t quite remember which way it was but I certainly couldn’t find it through the hole when I tried.
It’s a very small black push switch.

Thanks, It all works fine as it is so maybe i will wait to see what AT says.

On the machine gun LED, there are two wires, one red and one blue. But it goes into a three wire connector on the audio module. I assume the blue goes into the bottom and the red would be in the middle. The top pin on the audio module not used in this case.

That is the only thing not working in my test setup. They don't say which pins to use. But mine does not light up when firing the machine gun. I am afraid to start plugging it in randomly in different pins.

Do you recall where it goes?

Mine is still in its unopened packet.
I’m not at the stage when it’s needed yet and didn’t have it when I did my initial bench set up test.

Thanks anyway Malcolm. I tested the LED on the bench with a power supply, and it works, but I hate to randomly plug stuff in! Easy to pop an LED. But easy to replace as well.

The switch is on top of the PCB, so you probably pushed the board up when you inserted something.

It's only held in by the connector at the far end, so can have quite a bit of movement.

If you can insert something non-metallic like a toothpick and lever the board down, you should be able to see the switch.

Tom to the rescue.. Thanks Tom…. Yes.. blue to the top pin and red to the middle pin of output 4 on the audio module and I have machine gun led flashing.

Thanks Tom. How are we supposed to know that? I figured since red is always in the middle on all other wires, that would be where it should be. I was afraid to try the other position - just did not want to pop the LED (yet).

Ok, I will take a look again. Thanks. But before I even inserted anything in there, that circuit board was at the top, so maybe it just moved out of position in shipping.

You were correct. The PCB board was up too high, past the opening. I was able to move it down and there was the button.
