Well, it bears a slight resemblance to the 20mm gun which is shipped with the kit ...

Yes your both correct. Quite a few of the parts are not shown as they are being painted at the moment. When ive got it done i will post some completed shots.

Steve, what percentage of those parts are scratch built as opposed to orginals

Adrian,
Ive used all the original parts but modified them by adding missing detail Ive also completly scratch built the sighting mechanism, mg mount tray and counter ballance. things will become clearer when i have completed the painting and assembled everything.

Very cool gun and mounting Steve!
Is the elevation servo mechanism included in the kit or is that your modification? Really nice work.

Robert,
The servo mount and linkages are part of the kit, you just have to supply the servo yourself.
