So I am attempting to re start my ancient 2005 build. The hull is assembled and have done a mock up of the left side. Assembled the wheels according to the instructions but as you can see in this vid I took that there seems an excessive amount of play in the wheels. I have watched Oddballs vintage Tiger build and his does not have the amount of wobble my wheels have.
Are the wheels supposed to be this wobbly?
Thanks-Chris
Here’s the vid:

I dont have a Tiger , Stug 3 myself, I would love to see a close up side view with the bearings exposed, that would let more people assist with the problem.

On my current 2023 Early Tiger, there is no play in the wheels whatsoever. Something seems amiss there.

The play in the wheels can be addressed with spacers.

Re: 2005 Early Tiger wheel wobble
This was a feature on the very early Armortek Tiger 1 production kits, once the vehicle is lowered on to the ground it makes no difference to the running, i have two of these tigers from the early days and both are great models, you can improve with spacers, extra Bearings and some lathe work if you want, owners that have them today are still running them , so much so one vehicle wore out a complete set of Tracks with so many shows attended. These early Tigers are good and good value, regards simon.
