Armortek

We have been contacted by an auction house to inform us that an Armortek Tiger 1 is going up for auction on the 9th March.

We offered to pass the information on so the details are below.

Please note that we have no information about this kit and have no idea what state it is in or whether it is complete - so despite what the listing says, contacting us for more information about this kit will be pointless.

The Tiger 1 is lot 423:

Interesting. Was 2005 the third release of the tiger kit? I’ve heard they are slightly faulty in the design up to a point. What would be the release date that all the issues with suspension were completely sorted out? For a non machinist this would be critical.

Release 3 is the manual version. This is the second Tiger Armortek released (Early type) and has the individual aluminium blocks holding the suspension arms. I think it was the next release which went to the full length suspension bars and the 3010 Mid which had the first adjustable suspension.
