1942 Sd Kfz 7 track pads for sale

These came from a pair of tracks I was restoring for one of my restoration projects having been recovered from the famous panzer scrapyard at Trun. This was the major dismantling yard for the wrecks dragged off the battlefields around the Chambois Pocket or, as it's more commonly known, "The Corridor of Death" where the retreating German armies were almost decimated in their retreat towards the River Seine at Rouen.

They are in remarkably good condition for being 81 years old. I didn't use them on the vehicle because I acquired an unopened crate of brand new old stock pads from Norway which had come fresh from the factories. The pads for sale were made by Vorwerk who, I believe, now make vacuum cleaners amongst other things.

In the photos, you will see my custom made hydraulic rig for pushing out the track pins - some of which needed more than 50 tons of oomph to get them moving. Just click on the images to enlarge them.

Ok, fair enough but I do think these would be of interest to your customers along with the photos of real track being dismantled.
