Hand made 1/5 scale K2 Black Panther MBT in Korea.
Happy New Year, everyone.
I haven't heard from you under the pretext of being busy for a long time.
However, I always wish the forum here where Armortek and I interact will last forever. I haven't been able to tell you, but the love of a track vehicle like my tank hasn't cooled down.
I also have a young friend who makes engine tanks by hand in Korea.
I'm introducing you to the new year a young tank enthusiast who makes a lot of things that everyone who loves Armortek will be interested in, so take a look.
You'll see a number of techniques that he can use to build our tanks in the course of his production.
He's always full of love and passion for orbital vehicles. He's currently making bulldozers.
Look at his interesting hand skills.
Once again, I wish everyone a happy 2023.
Youngjae.

That is some impressive engineering and fabrication. It will be a monster. Even making his own hydraulic cylinder and valves. Impressive project.
Thanks, Happy New Year,

Re: Hand made bulldozer in Korea.
As a tank-loving maniac, I'm sending news from Korea to the extent that it's not rude to Armortek.
Not long ago, I suggested to him that we make 1/5 scale K2 Black Panther Tank together, which is MBT of the Korean Army, and he was willing to spare his time for me.
I asked him to use steel, not aluminum, for the basic material, so he lacks the sophisticated precision of an armortek's tank because he makes this work mostly by welding.
But we're happy to construct the overall shape, and he's also a longtime fanatic of Armortek.
Regards,
Youngjae

Re: Hand made bulldozer in Korea.
The long rainy season and heat wave have started in Korea, and hot and humid days continue.
It's been a while since I've made RC bulldodzer and I'm telling you about the production of the K2 Black Panther.
As the RC bulldozer was operated with a hydraulic system,
it was more difficult to set the cooling conditions than I thought.
The following is a video that includes the RC bulldozer maker.
The following is a video that includes The 1/5 scale K2 Black Panther.
I hope everyone is healthy again in the hot summer.

Youngjae

Great videos Youngjae.
Loved the Fusion 360 timelapse video of the Black Panther but now can't remember where I saw it.

These days, the central part of Korea is having a hard time because of heavy rain.I'm expecting the sun to shine soon.Vince Cutajar wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 7:26 amGreat videos Youngjae.

Yes. That's the one. Impressive 3D modelling. I now also found it on the official Autodesk website:

I suspect the time lapse was done with an add-on script or extension.

Replaced the power drive from the hydraulic system to the gear system.

Re: Hand made 1/5 scale K2 Black Panther MBT in Korea.
This week, we conducted outdoor tests of Dozer and indoor tests of K2 tanks.
For the indoor test, we installed a servo and a transceiver and finished it well.

Re: Hand made 1/5 scale K2 Black Panther MBT in Korea.
So far, we've done some simple outdoor test.
The test was to climb a hill with a slope of about 40 degrees in a backward direction with a high gear ratio. Since then, the tank body has been shaped.
The side skirt and top plate work were done, the turret ring was manufactured by an external drive method, and the variable test was performed using the transmission of the RC car.

The rear mudguard of the K2 tank has been completed.
It naturally goes up and down when it's pushed from the outside.
The viewer will understand intuitively without the explanation of the pictures.
