Anyone know the current status of the King Tiger restoration at the military museum at Full, Switzerland?
The link I bookmarked years back no longer seems active. At the tank info page they have this photo:
however I can't find any of the previous restoration articles. Not sure if they were moved to another host or just deleted.
The link I had was http://www.koenigstiger.ch/english/index.html. I would imagine that photo above is the complete restoration
as it was nearing completion the last time I went out there. As I understood it their goal was to get it running and upon completion
I would have expected there be a bit more "hoopla" but so far nothing...

The hall has no heating so they are not doing very much during the winter.

I have seen the following films on YouTube :

The YouTuber Wasilij Saizev had uploaded 13 parts of the King Tiger restauration (Königstiger Restaurierung) from 4 years to 7 months ago :
(The only one English version)
(B)
YouTuber Pascal Flury uploaded 1 film on this Summer which already quoted by laurent ROSSET above:

Your photo shows the Kingtiger before the start of restoration when it was moved from Thun caserne to Full muséum.Jerry Carducci wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 2:50 pmAnyone know the current status of the King Tiger restoration at the military museum at Full, Switzerland?

Yes, I was surprised when I saw that photo on the museum's current webpage for the Tiger II. I'd gone through their yearly 'blogs' previously and watchedlaurent ROSSET wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 7:31 am

several videos years back about how they remade several parts; the challenges with certain electrical components and while there still was much to do it seemed to be going well, fairly far along so double the surprise when their current photo is of an 'as delivered' tank...
It was exciting to realize there may yet be 2 running Tigers II one day... I'll keep my ears open.
