Sturmgeschütz III Ausf D (no. 10/2013)

Post by Heiko Sattler »

Hello men,

I recently bought a Stug from a friend, this one was already built.
I've been thinking for a long time what to do with it.
There are now some stugs here and what they all have has never appealed to me. a few weeks ago the decision was made with the help of another model making colleague it should be the ausf.D. The first CNC parts have arrived and my printer is running hot, have fun with my construction report in the next few months.

Awesome project as usual Heiko. This is one I have wished Armortek would make.

I've waited a long time and hoped that Armortek would make an early Stug. unfortunately I was disappointed. I'm over my disappointment and have chosen my own path.
there is a lot to do but with the help of 3d printing technology and trusting my skills i dared to take this step.
There aren't many early stugs that survived the war, but enough to make a true-to-scale model, here are 2-3 more pictures that I think are great. hope for a lively exchange report posting without results is no fun
