While researching UC variants i came across this oddity.
It would suit anyone who wants a small tank or perhaps encourage Armortek to produce a Stuart/Honey to aid with conversions.
This example is at the El Alamein museum. So a reasonably timely appearance given the recent anniversary.

Would be a cheap kit as there's nowhere to put the motion pack

Re: Universal Carrier variations - a bit of honey
Wondering if this is real (as in actually worked and used) or they had nowhere else to put the Stuart turret?

I don't think you would be able to use the turret if the engine is still installed, so it would be a push around pill box.
Looks to me as though someone has tried to mock up a Vickers light tank.

Re: Universal Carrier variations - a bit of honey
My immediate thought was that this was something put together as a show and never intended for use. However, the one thing about these carriers is that there were so many adaptations.
When supplies may have been short and the need great then it may have been a reasonable one off to put the turret on, maybe from an unrepairable tank chassis.
Still an interesting little beastie.

With the A Team an amphibious version should be no problem
