Part not aligning

Post by Ray Brown »

Hi all,

I'm trying to attach the front left side piece but the holes don't align along the bottom angle bracket or the right side angle bracket. Even when the fasteners are loosely inserted through on the left, the bottom & right are out of alignment by up to 3mm.

Did anyone else have the issue? If yes how did you fix it?

Cheers
Ray

Mine aligned well. The only issue I had was the upper most front plate as it had the line of holes drilled incorrectly. The kind folks at Armortek replaced it. Minor alignment issues I was able to correct; I needed to as I completely riveted my upper hull together. I did my best to only use screws where the full sized machine did or where I had no other choice.

If possible I'd revisit some of the other joints to recheck their alignment and prove their orientation is correct.
