I used to see items like this pop up all over ebay years ago; not certain if they were this well detailed or how well they were made
but I've not seen one in years. I also have been looking for them with no luck. Those I saw were the 60cm Flak Sw 36.

Hello Peter,

I owned such a searchlight in 1/6 scale. It was a handmade model made of white metal with a built-in LED. There were moving parts but no more complex mechanical functions or a chassis. The quality was also not as accurate and durable as Armortek. But it was quite decorative. I had the searchlight come from China about 6 years ago and sold it in the meantime. I think this small company no longer exists.

Maybe this is an great idea for the next model instead of an 88 to build a FLAK-SW 36 with chassis –
I would be thrilled.

The last time I checked with those folks they don't have them. I've made and have had friends make inquiries all over China after these and so far it seems the company that made them dried up and blew away. I'd love to find out that is wrong.
