Can anyone tell me how to judge the proper track tension on the Sherman E8?

Still looking for the sweet spot, I thought i had it all resolved but doing even a very gentle driving turn will cause the inner track to jump the teeth. I have the track pretty tight with only the slightest slack measured at the return idler to the rear most boggie

I I sit the belly of mine on something so the tracks are free to hang they hang about an inch off the middle bogey wheels.
