Have been feeling under the weather for a few days, tested positive for covid today so that explains that, isolated myself to the shed, made the side doors on both sides, but did not have the energy to cut the openings, here’s how far I got

Only managed to pierce the door cut outs on one side, the sweat was pouring off me with the exertion, and I have had 4 covid jabs, it is a nasty virus, all being well I will tackle the other side tomorrow

Looking great Jeff, good you can make progress even with Covid! Building is a good quarantine activity. Maybe with all the heat in UK that can help sweat out the crud. Wishing you a swift recovery.

Get well soon both of you. Me and my wife could say that we were lucky as we don't think we ever got it. We are still extra careful as my wife suffers from asthma. It seems it affects people differently

Thanks Vince, this was a first for me,
Made a start on the front end, hinged the front windows, getting rid of the superglue took more time

What a week so far, managed to get my wife back in hospital, 1.30 in the morning Simone is having a coughing fit thought I would help and pass her the cough mixture from the cabinet, but it was 6% hydrogen peroxide she swallowed, back home all’s well
Just a bit done while waiting for some materials, started on the crew lockers

Enjoying the build, loving the extra detailing, did you use an enamel lapel badge on the radiator?. I considered doing a similar thing, but wasn't sure on the sizeing, looks very good 8)

Hi John, yes it was a lapel badge, 4cm long, found on the auction site, but you could try the Morris Commercial club, they are a lot cheaper but have no age

Jeff,
Looking really good. Wonderful brass and sheet work as always. That thing has so many hatches and doors even the hatches have hatches. Superb!

It has been a few weeks since I worked on the Quad, so glad to have a bit more done, when I got the model it had a large hole cut into the rear sloping roof ?, and as I wanted to put in the mechanism for securing the spare wheel, I had to silver solder a steel disk in place, I also hinged the roof, this is how far I got today
