3D printing
Hi Phil, thought it was more suitable here, I wanted to build a full size 3 rotor enigma machine, and the build plate on my ender 3 was not big enough, so after a lot of looking and comparing I bought the ender 5 plus, here are some of the prints, the black is carbon fibre

Re: 3D printing
Interesting project.
Any issues with the CF ? I know it's supposed to eat standard nozzles.

Re: 3D printing
Beautiful work! I do like the carbon fibre and a good tip reference the nozzle issue to. I think the ender 5 plus will be for me.

Re: 3D printing
My Flashforge Guider 2s printing the body of am M18 Smoke grenade. Build surface is 280w x 250d x 300h.
WIP L to R - 76mm Canister, 88mm Tiger 1 APCBC (bought), 76mm Smoke, 76mm HESH. Still working on 76mm HE & Prac round. Coloring and stenciling to be done. I used brass filament on 76mm cases and flesh color filament painted for projectiles. About 60hrs for each round of PLA at .1 layer.

Re: 3D printing
Superb Ray, it's good to see what you guys are producing with these filament printers! That 88mm is something else, the best I've seen what's the weight?

Re: 3D printing
Somehow only just found this thread so thought id add some of the things ive been making recently.
I have an Ender3 Pro v2 fdm printer and an Alegoo Saturn S resin printer.
The resin printer is used for figures and small detail parts.
I am currently making interior parts and stowage for my 251.C and should have a decent looking interior when done.
