OK here is an idea for a new Armortek vehicle: Sd.Kfz.232 (8 Rad)
Imagine, 8 wheeled drive on 4 steerable axles THat would make an interesting little RC vehicle.

I'd like to see Armortek tackle 1:6 scale mechanical working Horses.
How about a Stalwart that is actually amphibious, it would make a very interesting model. Don't be daft, its modern (relatively) and allied - no one would go for that!!!

Actually, there is a firm that makes/made a static 1/6 model of the Puma:

(and they make a M3 Lee/Grant too!)
This model even has a working suspension upgrade - made from resin parts (Why?) And, there is alread a good selection of accessory parts available too.
I see the challange as making RC version with the full manuvering capabilities as the real vehicle had.- that motion pak sound very expensive!

Allan, poor Mark will need therapy after figuring that one out. Let's keep him sane so he can focus on more armor.
German, preferably.
Jim, I think there's a few RC Pumas already out there as well.

Tim,
Any of those RC Pumas on the web? I am interested in how their drive train works.

Jim, I believe that the model and suspension is question is mine. The reason why I choose to make my functional suspension out of resin was because 97% of Battleground customers prefer to make their models as static display and My material is durable for this application. Another reason is because If I wanted to Convert my suspension into metal it would triple the price tag on the components. The Market is currently too small to justify the metal upgrade. John

Mark 1 tanks in the UK sells a 1/6 RC Puma armored car. It is made by Alex Schlakter (sp?) in the USSR. The body is GRP but the drive train is metal. It is 8 wheel drive and 8 wheel steering. It sells for 2700GBP. Not promoting Armortek competitors, but just saying one is available.

A full metal version from Armortek would be awesome!

John,
On the working suspension, are you saying you intended to make it out of metal? are going to make it out of metal someday? Just wondering for the future?
I was unaware of the Russian Puma, it is a fine model! I saw a video on it that someone PM'd me - awesome!
I think I would like an earlier, command-car, version for me, but the Puma is a great subject to model.
Thanks everyone.

Jim, I currently have no plans or interest on converting my suspension into metal, nor have I had any requests to do so. John
