Tiger Lift

Post by Brian Leighton »

Quick question, what are folk using to sit their Tiger on during the build? I'm struggling moving my tank on and off my Black and Decker work mate.

Hi Brian

I use a 200kg scissor lift trolley, easy to move about and you can raise and lower it depending which part of the Tiger you are working on.
If you also use a motorcycle lift on top of the trolley you will be able to raise the tracks off the lift table when testing the drive/tracks and be able to rotate the tank to get easy access to both sides.
You can get more info from the knowledge base link below.

I use a lifting carriage to transport the tanks between storage area (old tables), the working desk and the ramp to drive it out through the basement window.

At first I used a self made crane and a small and long ramp, but this was rather inconvenient and some dangerous.
