Just done a Sherman so I guess it won’t be that.
Chaffee,M3/M5 or Pershing are probably the only choices for American WW2 tanks available.
Personally I would choose the Chaffee.

Steve

Big fan of the Priest. Would like to see some more open artillery tractors so figures can be displayed and animated within. Super keen on a Marder when it's the German round.

What about a GMC Truck or Whillys.
D7 bulldozer would be also a great model.

I'd go for a bulldozer. If it had a ripper it could also help planting my vegetable garden so my lady could have fresh salad!
I'd like a functional hydraulic system on it please...
Fascination with and watching bulldozers is how I was introduced to track laying vehicles as a very young boy so I
could return to my 'roots' as it were..
A win-win all around..

It's always fun, trying to second-guess Armortek, isn't it ?
Let's assume a 'tank' has a turret and tracks. So we can discount armoured cars and bulldozers for a start. And we can surely leave out things like the M22 Locust (too silly) and the LVT 'Buffalo' with an M3 turret (fun, but surely limited appeal ?). So the immediate front-runners would seem to be the M24 Chaffee, the M3/M5 Stuart, and the M26 Patton .......
But there are plenty of Shermans that could be done. I'm no expert (but I know people who are

), but what about the E2 Jumbo ? That would be fun. And the diesel-powered M4A2 that was almost exclusively used by the US Marine Corps while island-hopping in the Pacific. It seems a pity to just focus on Europe, Russia, and the Desert.
And then there's the tank destroyers, like the M10 (Achilles to the British) that the German's tried to disguise their Panthers as during the Battle of the Bulge. And the M18 Hellcat, that was highly regarded. Even the M36 with the 90mm gun.
So there's actually lots of possibilities. But for what it's worth (and I'm usually wrong about such things), I'd bet on the Chaffee, because it apparently came a close second to the Churchill for the latest production run.
We'll just have to see, won't we ? Patience is, after all, a virtue .............
All the best,
Chris

So close and yet so far. The M24 Chaffee is just a tad smaller than its replacement, the M41 Walker Bulldog, which of course gave rise to the M42 Duster, surely the model for the future? (And the Duster would satisfy those who like cabriolet models). M24 into M41/42? Just not close enough. Next time.
Good call Chris.

I hear it could be a "Bargain Basement" model "Butcher 1"
The M24 could also be converted to a M19 for open top motoring with a view for airborne targets if one likes that sort of thing.
Personally the Pussy Cat killer T30 would be favourable, go big or go home.

Hi all.
I like Chris Hall's suggestion of M10 and thus the likely British possibilities.
Take care
