Due to much interest I shall be offering the gearbox and associated parts for the Chieftain, 3d printed for you to finish. I will list the parts once I have finished printing what I have.
The larger parts are slices to compensate for the false floor that you will have to fabricate to sit over the motor and gearboxes.

Phil, that's something called the Twiflex coupling, a flexible coupling for the transmission of power. Don't ask how I know - it had another name for anyone who has had to remove the bolts. Dropping one was a capital offence.

That makes sense of its construction Stephen, I have another file to print that also has the title of coupler, it's mounted closer to the gearbox. 8)
I have to thank Vince for his help producing these great files, my sometimes rather lacking engineering drawings that he worked from took me a while to research and draw but he made sense of what I couldn't show in detail but we got there in then end!

The kit of parts is growing, I'm going to print the breach too, and maybe all the other interior parts like the shells and ammunition racks, radio set and electrical boxes if people are interested?
See that number on the exhaust box, that's the number of hours that it takes to print using a custom extra extra fine setting.

Some pics of the breech and gearbox assemblies showing some of the simple parts you will have to make using plasticard to complete the look. I will post lots more for reference.

These handy boxes of various sizes will be part of the kit, they are handy for electrical kit, junction boxes, hydraulic containers, platforms for parts to be mounted on and spacers to name but a few uses.
