Interesting work.
Can you post a few pictures (detailed if possible) of the fully functional suspension

Hello Pierluigi.
Yes no problem i will take some photo's for you and post them tomorrow, it is a very basic spring set up not like the original i am sure but it works well and stops the trailer from bouncing during towing.
Thanks Paul

Hi Paul,
Nice trailer

You could do with some nice scale rope though or even dipped in some tea for a while. Do you have an original photo of one of these as I've not seen a Tiger towing anything other than another Tiger before
Thanks Antony

Hi Antony.
Yes i know the rope i was going to do the tea trick that i did for you on your Opel truck! but got carried away so there you are. As for "do i have an original photo" well here we go again

i am sure i have seen one but i have not checked through all my books i just scaled up from a 1/16 model i have, and as for the Tiger towing one well its a hobby after all lets imagine you are a Tiger comander starting out on a 20 mile trip to the front you have a perfectly good towing hitch at the back of your tank and a fuel trailer sitting there with two 45 gallon drums on the back ?? what do you reckon? i assume they put the tow hitch there for a reason yes? and in any case it will look quite handy behind a 250 or an Opel or a Panzer 3 but i like it behind the Tiger

Hi Paul,
Point taken

. I have seen photo's of Panzer III's towing these but not a Tiger. I wasn't saying it never happened, it probably did. Nice addition anyway
Thanks Antony

Hi Antony.

Tiger 1 on the eastern front "Jean Restayn"
The schwer panzer-abteilung 503 "Feldherrnhalle" page 44 this is the unit that my Tiger is based on number 313, although my Tiger is not seen towing the trailer.

Nice work paul should look good behind any vehicle, i cant see why a tiger would not be towing fuel around, i suppose they would have had to tow all sort's of stuff, after all there was a war going on.

Hi Antony.
Yes i have those two as well, have you seen the one in Tigers on the eastern front yet? the mudguards are missing on my trailer as well

either the builder of the trailer chickened out or the local scrap man got em.
Cheers Paul

Hi Pierluigi.
Very late but pics of the suspension as promised, i know some of you will not like how i have done it but it works very well and you cannot really see the suspension when the trailer is being towed.
Hope you like.
Cheers Paul

Hi Antony.
Yes i made up a barrel for it there was very little detail on the one i had so i took the plunge only the back end though, for the front i just tarted up the original a bit, not working this weekend so hoping to start with the zimmerit.
Cheers Paul
