Superb work David :D :D :D :D

Now you just need to get the buoyancy so that the freeboard is an inch or so from the top of the screen

Yes it does sit too high, I ether increase the weight of the tank or maybe waterproof the electrics and allow the hull to flood.

David, what an awesome idea. Nice to see that it would work.
With bigger pool you can let it swim arround :)

Cheers

Excellent job 8) I'm with David on this one.
I think there'd be a bit more displacement from a 100kg model.

Add a church spire, waves and a few sea currents, what could go wrong?.

Excellent! A judicious amount of lead to lower the freeboard but not too much, better to be safe than sunk.

Once it's all ship shape and sea worthy. (Stainless bearings are fitted?)

What's next? a Tauchpanzer III, that would be some thing to see. or not except for the floaty snorkel thing.

How about flying a tank!
Never fails to amuse.

An excellent performance, despite the small dropouts.
After all, the tank floats and bathing trunks and snorkel were not needed. :D
Impressive features in a great model. :!:

Outstanding! I like it!

Over here in the People's Paradise though you'd have the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), Homeland Security,
Duck rights protesters and the Pronoun activists to ensure the proper description of your accomplishment; all there
to ensure that no Shenanigans were afoot.

Plus you'd probably have any locals abuzz on 'Nextdoor' alerting others to shifty activities down by the old pond...

Hi David

Thats brilliant and you are a brave man to try it. Not sure I will risk my Tiger with a snorkel though :D
