Canal Defence Lights (CDL)

I recently came across a few online photos of CDL's, one of which we can almost positive identify its position in relation to buildings at Lowther Castle.
Lowther castle for us is a walk round the block(well 6 miles). Googles map/earth show hard standings in the area around Low Close and down by the river concrete hards are to be seen with road ways leading into Yanwath woods, these are not open to the public.
I know the area above us, Moor Divock was used for CDL training. Local farms were put into a ranch system, certainly around where we live.
A fact I do have is that a ball round 75mm was picked up on Moor Divock during the 1990's when I was a volunteer with the Lake District National Park, not by me by the way!
I am aware of the After The Battle article on the subject.
Can anyone identify the book these photos are from (Hobarts Funnies, Churchills Secret War etc.)
