This would be worth a great addition to Armorteks growing arsenal.

Thirded
And the running gear could go towards an M4A1 Sherman.

Yes, I agree with this....the Grant/Lee, a very cool tank, unique in appearance. How about it Mark and Gill? Please give some seriuos consideration to this.

Well, I would not mind having a Lee...have to be named "Lulu Bell" of course
But, maybe a safer bet for Armortek would be a variant based of the P3 pr P4 chassis? I can't say what would be a "safe-bet" these days (sorry)
Don't like mdern tanks (sorry to offend those I do on this one)
And, I always thought that German, 8 wheeled armored-car was interesting But, I think it would be harder to sell that the 222 is...so I can't offer that as a plausible suggestion.
I guess my ultimate desire for a 1/6th tank is a Sturmtiger (If you make it...please make it fire!). I can't say why its my favorite of the Tigers - I guess because its so ugly its cute...... But, that does not seem like a plausible suggestion either.
OK, I have it........how about a KARL? Thor or Loki anyone? (OOH!, now that sounds expensive.... And, what would the neighbors say when that one fires????)
Why is it I only seem to think of the odd stuff?
Well, what ever it is.......its going to be good!
Thanks in advance Mark and Gill!

Well,
I would have to say that the King Tiger was a safe bet, and if I were able to afford another one, that would be my first choice.
Due to the lack of allied offerings, I bet a Pershing would be a good seller. The would be next on my wish list.

I think it would indeed be fantastic
BUT as long as they make the tyres and rims easier to assemble unlike
the 88 and 7
"Runs like ell................."

Yes, I agree that a Puma would be nice, but does everything have to be German? Mark and Gill: please consider the US Grant/Lee and also the US Pershing. I know you say that the German stuff is more popular, but keep in mind that you still have unsold German Sdfz 7 halftracks and 88's, whereas the US Sherman did eventually sell out. I think that there needs to be some balance between Axis and Allied armor. Right now, it's very lop-sided....way more Axis than Allied (only a US Sherman and M3 + variants halftrack). How about at least a couple more Allied pieces? Then make a gazillion more German Axis variations....haa haa...seriuosly, why have such a mass of German and only a couple of US Allied? There has not been even a slight hint of a future US armor piece. This is just my two cents worth. I respect eveyone else's opinion. Feel free to agree/disagree.

For those wishing more Allied equipment, may I suggest getting in touch with Cactus Tracks? Bevan mentioned a while back that he was contemplating making the M10 and the M36. For those of you wanting the Allied "heavy-hiiter" these two are it - in my opinion. The Pershing was too little and to late for WWII; besides, I bet to render it properly would make the model more expensive than the KT - lot of cast components to that hull and turret. Now, if we are talking a tank for Korea - buddy that would be my choice! (with the Tiger paint scheme - WOW!)
But, if Mark and Gill decide to go Allied......I still would like a Lee Tank named LULUBELLE......that's my first choice! Now, everybody get out your SAHARA DVD and rub the case saying, "I wish I had, I wish I had...."

What I would like is a Bren Gun Carrier, some thing not too large with the potential for all sorts of modification. My son Rory would like a DUKW, which crosses over neatly with my interest in model boats! Although has anyone successfully floated a duplex Sherman?!

If an Armortek universal carrier was on offer I would be on the phone with an order within seconds of finding out about it. But I doubt it will happen - there's just not enough potential buyers.
There is already someone who has converted his Armortek Sherman into a superb DD one. When I met him last he was planning to sail it (eventually).
