Engine Intake Grill Covers

Post by LesBernell »

Does anyone know if the Engine Grill Covers sold by "6th Scale Icons" / Field Of Armor Tanks fit the Armortek Panzer III ?
Anyone have any insight into the company: Field Of Armor Tanks?
They haven't responded to my messages.
I need Engine Grill Covers for my Armortek Panzer III and I'm a little hesitant to order them.

Thanks,
Les

Please stop me from giving you my opinion on Field of Armour and their customer service or I'll be banned from the forum for sure...

I made them myself,
using a brass plate and stretched mesh bought in a Brico center
like this, it costs a few euros

I ordered a set of Engine Intake Grill Covers from Field Of Armor and promptly received them.
I have seen this kit before, and there was a set of instructions with it.
Mine didn't come with a set of instructions.
It's easy enough to figure out, but out of curiosity; I would like to see a set of instructions.
My requests for a copy of the instructions has not been responded to by Field Of Armor.

Does anyone have a set of instructions for the Engine Intake Grill Covers that they can send me?

Thanks,
Les

I had the same thing happen to me when I got their Tiger 1 rear mudflaps. No instructions, but then I noticed that the original 6th Scale Icons instructions where part of the photos on their website.

So I guess in your case have a look at the 4th photo on the right here:

Download the photo and print it.

Vince,
I honestly think the instructions were just added. I had printed all of the pictures that were there to use as a reference to build Grill Covers.
I didn't see the instructions at that time.
I wonder if they saw my request, and realized that the instructions weren't there; so they added the instructions.
Thank you for pointing me to the instructions.
Les
