Hi all
I’m not aufais with radio control and have a few issues I can’t get my head around.
Where do I get the power from for the receiver?
Which way around should the plugs go into the receiver? There doesn’t seem to be any polarity on the receiver (a Spektrum Mk610)

The Rx power is provided from the Armortek Power Supply Module. The instructions will give you the connections.
On the AR610 Rx, the polarity is marked against the Bind Plug socket. The signal pins are nearest to the centre of the Rx, the negative towards the edge.

On the first multi-box version of the Silver Box Armortek system this was the case, with a dedicated power lead for the receiver.
On the later large silver box, the power was integrated into the connections between the box and the receiver, with no separate power lead.
On the Red Box modules, the receiver power is provided through the connections between Motor Control A module and the receiver, again with no separate power lead.

Thanks guys but on the Universal Carrier wiring looms there doesn't seem to be a connection for the receiver power.

On the UC, I would expect the power is provided by the motor speed controller.

In most of the receivers the power links (plus and minus) are connected over all plugs for the servos. Therefore it is not necessary to connect a special power line when one of the connected accessories has a BEC (battery elimiting circuit)

Hi Jimbo,
The receiver power is supplied from the speed controller. When you plug in the lead that goes from the speed controller to the receiver that will power up the receiver, you do not need an extra power source.
