May be a daft question but are the tracks handed? There is a difference in the shape of the 'drive cog' holes in the track, do they have to face a specific way. Mine seems to drive in reverse better with less track slip on the sprocket than forwards. Yes I have removed the excess links, perhaps I need to adjust the front idler to tighten the tracks? Still love this machine especially since I have stopped burning servos!
