Hello,

My tiny little workshop is a work in progress, and is situated at the back of my garage. The next job is to get a workbench and shelving in, and maybe a couple of cupboards. Lockdown is making this a bit difficult, combined with an increased workload!

My interest in Armortek has to share space with my passion, my 2019 Morgan Plus 4, one of the final 'traditional' steel chassis'd Plus 4's. Dedicated to the memory of my Grandfather, 'Hurri' the Morgan sleeps better than me, inside a Carcoon. I'll attach a picture of Hurri from the first time I took my Mum out for a spin, a very meaningful trip due to the family connection as well as being part of the culmination of a huge dream of mine, as I've dreamed of owning a Morgan since I was a young lad.

My workshop is very humble compared to some of the amazing set ups I've seen on the forum, but it's just big enough for a Universal Carrier, and maybe a Hetzer or CVR(T).

Cheers,

Alex

Hello David,

I hope you're doing very well mate, she's a beauty for sure. I've saved up for 10 years for her. Definitely a keeper. Unfortunately the E8 wasn't for me in the end, too little space to work on it really and the impending possibility of a Panther G as a future release has also peaked my interest. If I'm going to buy a model I won't have space to build for a few years, it might as well be a Panther, as I've wanted to build a particular tank- 'Cuckoo' for some years now. That doesn't mean a Hetzer or CVR(T) isn't on the cards though..

Stay well mate,

Alex

“Paratus” and “Courage” Ray, good to see. As a Brit, I’m proud to say I’ve done Pukka and Holsworthy, if only briefly. Great workshop too. Now, where was that spanner?
