The Jagdtiger shown on the first two photos, isn't it the unique one unfinished by the late Per Sonnervik? :D
Yes, it is!

I liked the embroidery. What a wonderful thought from your daughter. Something like that would have pride of place in my workshop.

Hi All,
here are some photos of my 2 rooms for tank building.
Between the ready tanks Tiger1, King Tiger and the other King Tiger there are lying the parts of a Sturmtiger a Jagdtiger and a StuG. So i have work for the next years :D :D :D :D In the middle of both rooms there are hydraulic lifting tables for driving out through the windows.

Hi Martin,

just I did re-read your thread about your King Tiger and its steel track links. Do you already have experiences driving this tank with its 9 teeth sprocket rings and the late steel track links in rough grounds?
kind regards
Gerhard

Hi Martin.

Always love to see your photos. "Two rooms" and "driving out tanks through the windows" are complete news to me. :D

There are several 1:6 scale line drawings of Jagdtiger, Elefant with interior profile, and parts on the wall.

Amazingly I wonder did you scan, download them from books, then enlarge and print them out by some sort of drawing device, or did you obtain them from some source(s)? I can't think of any other way to get them that large.

With regards,
Lerh Chang

'Tanks driving out through the window' is also my only possibility to transfer my models. Simultaneously this is the limiting factor for the dimensions of my models. Perhaps I otherwise would have also 1/4 scale models.......

Hi Gerhard,
yes i was able to gain a lot of experience with the 9 teeth steel sprocket rings. The result is absolutely satisfactory. No skipping or slipping tracks - they are running absolut perfect.

Hi Chang,
thank you for your nice words. Yes i scanned the drawings from books, scaled it to 1:6 and print it out on paper.
I have a plotter who can print drawings with a hight of 900mm and a max. length of approx. 6 meters.
Regards Martin

Hi Martin,

nice to read. I wonder why Olaf used pointed teeth because they were even more rare than the late track links.

Hi Martin,
after reading the latest threads about your Kingtigers with Olaf's steel tracks and your self-made 9 teeth steel sprocket rings, I went through your 2018 Kingtiger's thread, and found this photo of small hooks:

As I see it, no place is off limits for a war room until told otherwise.
It did say "For better or worse" in the verbal contract

Heiko. Is the truck in primer on the shelf a kit or scratch built? Looks great.
