Help with Turret Rear Seam

After a long military deployment I am finally getting to my 2019 KT build. I started with the turret and dry fitted the pieces but elected not do any filing on them. However, when I finally tightened everything down I noticed about a 3mm space with the rear plate. While I believe I can cover it up when I do the weld beads with putty I want to ask for advice? From the pics attached do you think I will have a problem? Should I just disassemble it and file down the rear joints so they fit more tightly? Thanks.

I've not built a KT but are the brackets symmetrical ?
If you flip them around, does that make a difference ?
Adrian.

Hi Darryl, you need to file the radius off in these corners so that there are sharp angles:

Thanks Armortek Staff - I was afraid of that. But not a problem I want it seated correctly. I will post again once I correct this. Do you recommend hand filing or an electric grinder?

Easy enough with a hand file - will give you much better control and the material is very easy to remove.
