by Dave Dibb (Armorpax)
Hi All,

My Christmas has come early and for all those crying out for photos I decided to open the box tonight even though I told Kian I wasn't going to :-)

Playing a game of metal parts lucky dip much to the annoyance of my other half who is trying to watch casualty while I keep rustling through the packing chips :-)

Best regards

Dave

Reminds me of a bar in the Rocks, Sydney, just after Vietnam, when the first veil never came off, let alone all seven. There was a riot.......

In light of all the insightful comments all I can come up with is what color scheme and which paint are you going to use?

I have no idea what you mean John :-)

Here is something a little more revealing...………………………

Jerry, rust, resin and white metal for while I would think :-)

Dave, will you, or are they included in the Armortek kit, be providing the fastenings for the deep wading kit. They were on all the Mk2’s even if they didn’t use the extra panels for deep wading?

Best
John

Nice one Dave, thanks for opening it up, with my sweaty paws I'd have to be wearing gloves.
I'm certainly aiming for a BEF dressed carrier when time allows

..............and so it begins, there is something very therapeutic about sitting down on a winters evening with a huge bolt together kit :-) Reminds me of days decades ago when my Grandfather, a very talented tin plate railway modeller, got me into all this. The only thing I had when there was a huge load of meccano and with their neighbours son we made suitable creations to suit what we wanted to play. I cannot remember ever being bored :-)

So, unlike some of the other builds mine will be focused on getting the body together asap so I can make new bits for it then sort the rest out later.

Best regards

Dave
