Nearly there on the Late Tiger Paint work, just the Barrel to finish and the Recoil which needs resetting, all for now, regards simon.

Amazing what an experienced painter can do to standard out the box build. This one looks a million dollars, seriously considering dropping mine off for the same treatment.

Cheers

Good built Tiger Simon.

A few questions regarding what year version kits it is :
(1) Unlike the earlier years version kits, two deck supports ae separated from the upper deck.
(2) Is the upper deck one piece (again earlier yrs model) or two pieces (late one) ?
(3) Is the gun barrel and mount recoil-able ?
(4) Is the antenna storage tube still not included in kits ?

Regards,
Lerh Chang

Thanks men for the positive feedback, The three tone camo on the Late Tiger 1 is well known and has been modelled many times, there' only so much you can put into this scheme. Chang this is a 2017 Tiger 1, recoil is fitted, the aerial tube is included in this kit but not fitted, The deck is 2 piece with the rear deck lowered, plus two deck supports, i think the new Release Late Tiger has all these features plus more, still very enjoyable to work on and the new sound effects are superb, all for now and many thanks for the input. regards simon.

Thanks Simon for the answer.

I am building a 2007 late type tiger, which has one piece of deck, no recoil, no antenna tube. Two deck supports are locked with the deck.

I am trying to :
(1) Unlock two deck supports from the deck, then screwed them with the chassis, just like 2017 version kit;
(2) Add the antenna tube on the right position.

The job (1) is nearly finished. Yet job (2) troubles me : It's easy to add a proper length of a 6mm diameter aluminium tube, but how to install & lock two tube mounts on the right position ?

Simon. is there any drawing in the 2017 assembly instruction manual mentioned about this? If yes, I'll be much appreciated that you can show me how. :idea:

Lerh Chang
