Ive put my name down for a Hetzer but will probably have to sell my Panzer III as i wont have space for 3 Armorteks and have a space to build as well.
Time to get the last few bits done on the P3 then see what happens.

Cheers

Nice Steen - I want one too. But I want a Stug as well. LOL.

I can't keep up any more. My wallet misses the days when there was only 1 release per year. Lots of great stuff coming.
best regards,
Bob

The Stug 3 was on my wish list but then i also wanted a Panzer III and there were no Stugs available when i wanted one.
Having spent the last couple of years rebuilding my Panzer III, i don't really want to do most of that work again to build a Stug.
So, the plan is to try and sell the Panzer III in a couple of weeks to release space and funds for the Hetzer.

The problem with looking at these late war workhorses is that in a lot of cases there is not much specific info and photos of Hetzers in action.
Plenty of knocked out pictures, and lots of camo examples but in a lot of cases they cannot be traced to an individual unit, date and location.

As a result, it is proving tricky to identify a particular example that i would like to model.
Still plenty of time though.

Have you got anything in mind Steen?

Cheers

Hi Tim

Thats a very good question :-) so far I have only been looking at pictures and still need to buy a Hetzer reference book. I was thinking a bit in the direction of Hungary 1945 as a theme where I believe this photo origins from

That looks good Steen.
I really like the look of the disc ambush pattern but i think this could be a tough choice to do.
A bit of experimentation will be required to perfect the technique.
Something like this from Stug.Abt.1708, 708th Volksgrenadier Division, France November 1944.

Plenty of time to keep looking though.
I am still looking for a decent book or books about the Hetzer.
I have some of the usual Osprey and Polish books but none of them are that good tbh.
