King Tiger kit hull #20 arrived in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania in Februrary and due to moving from Connecticut to Pa I have
not had a lot of time to work on it or post about the build so here goes.

The lower hull went together without any filing or other problems
The upper hull pieces went together with just a little filing where the upper sides fit to the glaces plate

Next was the rear deck assembly
The picture shows the rear deck minus the engine hatch which is now fitted to the rear deck updated picture of the rear deck to follow soon
Middle and front deck assembly went together next including turret ring
Now I am working on the resilient wheels and here is the first one I assembled
sorry the picture is a bit blurry

I have assembled 12 resilient wheels so far only 24 more to go
More pictures to follow as the build progresses and my move is completed

I left out as can be seen in the picture with the upper hull pieces fitted that I augmented my hydraulic lift cart by making the platform longer and wider with plywood to accommodate the King Tiger better.

Yes, they are too long for just about any manual hydraulic lift table. Nice!

After looking at some pictures of an actual King Tiger I noticed the Germans bent up the ends of the straps on the wheels to keep the nuts from loosening up so I am adding this detail to my resilient wheels by bending up the ends of the straps
