CMA Elefant Build

Post by Colin Andrews »

Well took the plunge and bought an Elefant, after several messages between Monique and myself and large amounts of cash leaving my account, the message was received from Monique that 4 large boxes were on there way to my delivery address (Work). When they arrived I got a whole new meaning to the word large, I would have said two large boxes and two massive boxes. Almost needed a new car!!
Boxes all Loaded.

All Boxes now unpacked, and the build has started, the lower hull is now in a state ready for paint, now I have to decided on a colour scheme, I have a few ideas so will have a mess about and see which one is best. I think we are going for late 1944 camouflage patterns. But we will see.

You might want to check this book out, it’s got a lot of interior and exterior photos of the Elephant that was at Bovington Tank Museum.
