Now, THAT's a warranty!

I got myself a voltage converter that did not live up to even half its specifications. Since it was a case of worthless engineering anyway, I sourced another locally and came across this one:

Although it was more expensive and had lower capacity spec, it performs beautifully. Now, check this warranty out:

Although the word "quibble" was new to me, it's intuitive enough. At the expense of repairing an occasional customer destroyed unit for free, they have done away with the expense of the entire "customer quibble department"! SMART!

I intend to check if they have more stuff on the menu that I might need... :D

More like clever wording to sugest you are getting something you are not.
Big difference between a faulty and a failed item.
I work for an electronics manufacturing firm. Half a day each week, I examine the returns.
If the item is low value, then it is simply replaced or refunded. Not worth using my time to inspect & repair.
If high value I then inspect, if it was faulty due to our actions then it will be repaired, replaced or refunded. If it has been destroyed by the customers fault, it will not be.

I'd say they repair/replace everything.

They replace "failed" units.

There's no differentiation between it failing due to a manufacturing fault or because the customer put 4000 volts through it.
